Educational Qualification:
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): Candidates should have passed Master’s Degree in relevant subject with 50% marks and B.Ed. Degree from a recognised university and should have proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English media.
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): Candidates should have passed Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject with 50% marks and B.Ed. Degree from a recognised university, and should have passed the central teacher eligibility test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE.
Primary Teacher: Candidates should have passed 12th class with 50% marks and CTET with two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) or Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
Age Limit (as on 31-10-2017):
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): Maximum 40 years
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): Maximum 35 years
Primary Teacher: Maximum 30 years
Application Fee: General/UR/OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 750 through online mode using Net-banking/Credit or Debit Card. SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen and PWD candidates don’t have to pay any fee.
