Orissa Government conducts Orissa Teachers Eligibility Test (OTET) every year for candidates who aspires to become teachers in schools for Primary (1-5 class) and Upper Primary (6-8 class) within the state. Like every year, Orissa Government has announced the OTET 2013 exam for which nearly lacs of candidates have applied. OTET is compulsory examination which every B.Ed qualified aspirant has to clear in order to become a teacher in the state of Orissa.
There are two type of examination conducting OTET first one is for Class I to V and second for Class VI to XII. You can apply for both if you follow the following eligibility for the examination.
For Class 1 to 5: Candidates have 10+2 with minimum 50% marks and 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education.
For Class 6 to 12: If you want to participate in the examination for Class VI to XII, you have to Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1 year B.ed.
